Learning at St. John’s goes well beyond the textbook. Through the year, children take part in:
- Annual Day, with theatre productions, dance dramas and music performances
- Hill-station inter-school festivals
- Inter-school elocution and debate competitions
- Outdoor expeditions and picnics

Community and the environment
St. John’s works with local non-profits such as Waste Warrior. Students take part in cleanliness drives and eco-conservation projects, and join the national Swachh Bharat movement, building a strong sense of social responsibility and care for the hills they live in.
Sports and the arts
Foot cricket, karate, dance, music and yoga build discipline, creativity and good health alongside classroom learning.
